YHWH (Yahweh) — I AM WHO I AM

God's personal name revealed to Moses. It speaks of His eternal self-existence and unchanging nature.

Adonai — Lord

A title denoting God's sovereign rule and majestic authority over all creation.

Jehovah — The LORD (Mispronunciation of YHWH)

A later vocalization of God's covenant name YHWH. Originated when scholars mistakenly combined the consonants of YHWH with the vowels of Adonai, resulting in "Jehovah." Though not the original pronunciation, it became common in early Protestant Bible translations.

El Elyon — God Most High

The name Moses gave to the altar after the battle with Amalek. It declares that the Lord Himself is our rallying point and the One who gives us victory.

Jehovah Mekoddishkem — The LORD Who Sanctifies You

A name revealing God’s work in setting His people apart. He not only calls us to be holy—He empowers it. Holiness is His work in us.
